Our Goal
At Highland Dragonfly Tours, we pride ourselves on offering fun, educational trips to see Scotland’s most iconic dragonflies and damselflies, all set against a backdrop of spectacular scenery.
Our Tours
Our tours are carefully timed to coincide with the peak season for Scotland’s speciality species. While dragonflies and damselflies are our main focus, we will also enjoy the rich variety of butterflies, moths, orchids, and birds that share these habitats.
We currently offer day trips or weekend tours, however, bespoke tours can be produced to prolong our time searching for the likes of Azure Hawker.
Please note we do not offer accommodation, but we suggest positioning yourself close to Inverness.
Homemade cakes will be a main feature of the day.
Your Leader
Matt Eade has been visiting the Wester Ross area since 2018, locating many areas favoured by the Azure Hawker and other species. Now, he lives in the Highlands, further increasing his knowledge of the area and the species found here. Matt has had over 10 years experience leading groups, whether here in the UK or beyond.
